This is the second part of Tiger franchise, after ‘Ek Tha Tiger‘. Avinash Singh Rathore a.k.a. Tiger, the R.A.W agent, has been abandon by his own agency. But when the threat starts emerging on the civilians, he is called back to the rescue. He now has to go on an impossible mission, where he is supposed to battle an international terrorist organization secretly.
Tiger Zinda hai is slated to hit the theaters on 25th December 2017. It will be the controlling factor of how the year 2017 has been at the box office, which hasn’t really been good with 2 Major movies like JHMS and Tubelight being unsuccessful.
The hope from Tiger Zinda Hai film is quite high for very clear reasons. The clearest reason is Salman Khan. We do realize that his last movie Tubelight was not a hit, but the expectation from Tiger Zinda Hai are different. Because Salman Khan is back as an action hero in this flick.
Salman Khan has given mostly blockbusters apart from Tubelight in the last 2-3 Years with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. And Sultan was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who is also directing Tiger Zinda Hai.
So all cards are in the favor of the film and the collection expectations are very high. Mainly an Aamir Khan movie releases during this period, but he has no film in this year and Salman Khan has the entire Christmas and New Year Holiday to himself.
As per BOTY, Tiger Zinda hai movie should easily cross the mark of 300 crores provided the content is good. Even if the content of the film is not up to the mark a figure like 150+ is a cakewalk considering multiple holidays available for the movie.
