Judwaa 2 new track Oonchi Hai Building 2.0: Varun Dhawan is an exciting to watch as both tapori Raja and nerdy Prem, while Jacqueline Fernandez is oozing hotness. Brownie marks go to Taapsee Pannu who is totally in her elements in this remake version of the chartbuster song.
When Salman Khan asked “Oonchi hai building lift teri band hai, kaise main aaun?” from Karisma Kapoor and Rambha way back in his 1997 cult hit Judwaa, it was the fans who gave him a reply in together. Cut to 2017 and Varun Dhawan is doing the same thing in Judwaa 2 for his leading ladies Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. The remake version of the track named “Oonchi Hai Building 2.0” brings the same craze for every 90s kid. Amidst all the distraction, the new version of the song gets a great response for giving a modern twist to the original song, with new tunes, picturesque locales of London and choreographer Bosco Martis’ scintillating choreography. And adding spice is Varun’s antics to woo the pretty ladies in the latest track which was launched by the makers on Thursday.

Taapsee who will be getting into the role of Rambha in the original film is in her elements in the song and as you see more of her, you will end up playing the video on a loop. Varun is a pleasure to watch as both tapori Raja and nerdy Prem. Jacqueline is as beautiful as ever in the foot tapping dance number. And as the trio sings, “Aaja Aaja Aaja mere wagger wale Raja” you will be forced to hit the dance floor. The two-minute song also gives us the glance of actors Upasana Singh and Anupam Kher.
Varun and Taapsee launched the track at the rooftop of a mall in Jaipur with 50 other couples. Recently, Varun Dhawan in a Twitter chat with his fans, Varun, who will be bringing back Raja and Prem on the silver screen said that he learned a lot from the hard working Jacqueline and Taapsee.
Just like “Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12”, Varun Dhawan made sure to keep the flicks buffs waiting for the remake version of the track. While he made Karisma do a step or two on “Tan Tana Tan”, for this one he was seen with the singer of the original hit Anu Malik coral the chartbuster.
David Dhawan, who directed the original movie in the year 1997, shared, “Oonchi hai building has in a way excelled time and has a huge universal appeal and I’m extremely humbled by the way it has been received. The new track has retained the energy and spirit, while the new cast has given it they’re all for this track as I feel they wanted to live up to the expectation of the original chartbuster. The choice again to retain this song is an ode to the spirit of Judwaa, we hope the people will accept this with all its youthfulness intact and probably 20 years from now this version does what the previous is still doing.”
The film, which has a special appearance of the original Prem and Raja – Salman Khan, is going to release on September 29.
