Mom Movie Review Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

Star Cast: Sridevi, Akshaye Khanna, Adnan Siddiqui, Sajal Ali, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Director: Ravi Udyawar

What’s Good:  Exciting story, direction, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is a delight to watch!

What’s Bad: While Sridevi’s acting is brilliant she needs to work on her accent. Also, the film could be shortened in the second half.

Watch or Not?: A must watch

User Rating:

High school student Arya Sabrawal gets raped by her batchmate Mohit and his aides one amongst United Nations agency may be a criminal. when the culprit’s area unit declared innocent by the court, Arya’s stepmother Devaki, a college teacher decides to show them a lesson in her own manner however it’s not a straightforward task. a personal investigator tries to assist her however the police are available their manner.

Will Devaki be ready to punish her daughter’s culprits?

Mom Movie Review: Script Analysis:

Don’t mess with a girl and if you are doing, be ready to face her mother. Yes, you get that right, her mom. Sridevi as Devaki isn’t the helpless mother of Hindi movies of earlier times World Health Organization would wail and sob and plead to the offender “Bhagwan ke liye meri beti blow chhod do”. She is that the twenty-first century later, World Health Organization is amative and caring however not helpless. She is love and kindness personified in one moment, however, will transform Maa Durga the terribly next to fight the demons of society and defend her kids. this can be the matter World Health Organization doesn’t hesitate to penalize her daughter’s rapists and stands as a plan during a country like ours whenever a lady is raped by some wolves brazenly within the public et al take the sheer pleasure of photography the video and sharing it on social media.

This ably justifies the dialogue, “Since God can not be all over, He created Mother”.

Ravi Udyawar, Girish Kohli, and Kona Venkat Rao take a bow!

Mom Movie Review: Star Performance:

Sridevi demonstrates that she is one of the finest performing artists Bollywood has ever delivered and can be glad for. The veteran on-screen character conveys the whole film on her shoulders and how! No one could have attempted Devaki superior to anything her I feel. Now and again amid the motion picture I felt, she is not playing Devaki, she IS Devaki. She is a motivation for trying on-screen characters as well as for B-Town’s more youthful era of performing artists. To depict in a single word, she is remarkable. In any case, a Delhi lady communicating in Hindi with a south emphasize sounds a bit excessively odd. I’m certain the creators could have concocted an answer for this.

Has Nawazuddin Siddiqui at any point neglected to awe? I can’t t;hink of any film where he has! The way he gets into the skin of the character is excellent! The remarkably gifted on-screen character just shows signs of improvement with each film I feel. In Bollywood, on the off chance that anybody can contend with Nawazuddin, it’s Nawazuddin himself! What an execution!

Akshaye Khanna inspires as the extreme wrongdoing branch cop. I ask why he doesn’t work in more movies.

Pakistani on-screen characters Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali, both of who make their Bollywood make a big appearance with Mom, set up a pleasant execution as father and girl. Adnan Siddiqui is particularly splendid as an anguish-stricken father urgent to get equity for his girl who is a bit of his heart.

While each performer has put in their best execution, Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes the show!

Mom Movie Review: Direction, Music:

Debutant director Ravi Udyawar tells a capable, hard-hitting story which is motivated by the truth of our general public and stands as a motivation for its ladies. Devaki’s inquiry “Agar aapko galat aur bohot galat mein se chun na ho, toh aap kya chunenge?” is applicable for this general public. I wish each lady who has been a casualty of eve-prodding, attack, assault, abusive behavior at home or provocation could get equity in our nation.

This is a film which each Indian lady will have the capacity to relate with. The film associates with the watcher inwardly, which is the place Ravi Udyawar scores as a chief. This is a film, which will motivate ladies to not feel feeble or defenseless, to stir the red hot Goddess inside them and battle against the off-base. Mother is a film pertinent for the present time in a nation where brutality against ladies is widespread.

The film is holding, in spite of the fact that a couple of undesirable scenes in the second half where it tends to extend could be slashed. The film especially sets aside opportunity to achieve the peak.

There are a couple of scenes which give goosebumps and some which will make you shed tears. Sridevi’s healing facility scene where she becomes more acquainted with that her little girl has been assaulted is one of her finest exhibitions and touches the heart.

A.R Rahman’s mood melodies makes quite recently the correct effect for a story like this. I enjoyed the track Chal Kahin Door and O Sona Tere Liye warbled by the arranger himself.

Mom Movie Review: The Last Word:

We need more mothers like Devaki to protect our daughters in a society which is NOT safe for women and a paradise for rapists.
